2. Help you move beyond patterns that you keep repeating. Maybe that’s bingeing whenever you feel a particular uncomfortable emotion or at times when you’re trying desperately to do the opposite of bingeing to lose weight.

3. Allow you to be seen and heard in your food and body struggles by someone who “gets it”, which as scary as this may feel, can be hugely supportive in itself.
