Short reflection: Receiving sweetness

These few simple lines dropped into my being a couple of weeks ago…

And they’ve been so persistently going around that I felt they wanted sharing - as though there’s something here for some of you too:


One day you’ll be lying in bed with the one you love
Their hand gently resting on your tummy
And you’ll think to yourself
“How silly to ever deny myself this sweetness”



Maybe there’s more sweetness available to you in this body, in whatever form, than you’ve allowed yourself to receive.
